Once the client is happy with the proposed plans, whether this be for an extension or a new dwelling, we will submit the plans with all necessary supporting documentation to the local authority on their behalf.
The Planning application process takes approx 2 months and during this time if the Planning Dept ask for any amendments these will be agreed with the client before proceeding.
If there are any conditions attached to the Planning Permission these will have to be dealt with before building commences.
A planning application will not always be necessary especially for extensions but this depends on the desired floor area, height and location etc.
