Following receipt of Planning Permission from the local authority we will acquire a quotation for the Building Regulations fee to be paid to the local authority and this will be sent to our client. If this is acceptable and the client wishes to proceed we will then prepare the plans for this next stage which will be to produce roof plans, foundation plans, sections & specification for your builder.
If requested by Building Control we will obtain any structural calculations that could be needed.
Once everything has been agreed with the client the submission of Building Regulations and specification will be submitted to the Council
If the property is for a new build venture we will also submit an Energy Efficiency Applications (SAP, EPC, Water Efficiency, Ventilation Assessments and Air Tightness Testing). A quotation for this will be acquired from the local authority at the same time as the Building Regulations quotation is acquired.
A Building Regulations application will not always be necessary, but advice can be give on this at consultation stage.
