Measured Surveys

Once contacted by a prospective client we will arrange a convenient date and time for a site visit to discuss requirements.  Clients can also arrange to visit our office if this is preferable.  We then prepare a quotation detailing our costs, fees to local authority and any other specialist fees that may be required.

If our quotation is acceptable we will arrange a survey of the property or premises at a suitable day and time.

We survey internally and externally.  Normally on domestic surveys we will cover the whole property and provide you with an existing floor plan and elevations, this will include an existing ordnance survey site location plan which is a requirement for all Planning Applications and Building Regulations applications.

For extensions and alterations the next stage is to produce existing drawings taken from our survey together with photographs taken during that time, we are then able to produce the plans incorporating the changes the client requires in readiness for the application to the local authority.

For new builds and small residential developments we will liaise with a land surveyor on your behalf to acquire a topographical survey of the site if required before commencing detailed drawings.
