Design of New Build Properties

Producing plans for new small residential developments or one off homes for self-build clients is something we are pleased to undertake.  We will of course have meetings with prospective clients and listen to their requirements and hopefully produce a scheme that is acceptable to them.

On individual properties we will inform our clients of the processes that have to be undertaken to obtain Planning Permission and Building Regulations approval, including Energy Efficiency Certification.

We would normally await the outcome of the Planning Application before commencing work on the Building Regulations application.

If a prospective client buys a development site with Outline Planning Permission we will apply for Reserved Matters approval dealing with any conditions on the Outline Planning approval notice.

A similar process would take place on small residential developments but these may require digital surveys of the site if this has not already been undertaken to determine exact boundaries etc, which we could arrange if necessary.
